Siegessäule is a monthly events and culture digest for Berlin’s queer scene, an important source of information and connection since 1984. Published primarily in German, every 99-page issue also includes a selection of English-language content.
I have a rotating column in this English section, a slot that aims to give the magazine’s diverse readers “international perspectives on queer Berlin.”
Some of my favourite columns I’ve written (all links open PDFs):
–Forgive me Vaterland, for I have sinned: on being corrupted by the German obsession with orderliness
-Berlin summers are a big ol’ penis fest. But what about women?
–Queers need to stop worrying and learn to love turning 30
